The Radiant Australia team is headed by joint managing directors Juergen Sauter and John Askwith. John and Juergen share a passion for renewable energy, and a belief that Radiant’s simple but innovative solar racking systems are part of a solution to break down costly barriers to innovation that inhibit the widespread adoption of solar.
Their dedication to technical excellence and their professional expertise is matched only by a commitment to customer service that promises a response to every customer inquiry within 24 hours. It’s this commitment that led to the development of the unique Radiant Australia solar racking design service, and it’s this commitment that continues to inform the development of Radiant’s technologically advanced solar racking solutions.
Juergen Sauter: Managing Director
When Juergen Sauter started his MBA in 2006 he was still working as a project manager in the automotive industry in Germany. A qualified engineer it was a passion for renewable energy and a desire to work in the industry that prompted him to write his thesis on barriers to innovation in the solar industry. That was the first step on a journey that took him to Melbourne, where he built his industry expertise establishing a subsidiary of a German solar integrator, and ultimately on to the setup of Radiant Australia in Brisbane in 2012.
It’s that same passion that drives Juergen today and underpins his involvement in all technical and non-technical aspects of the business. He combines his technical and professional expertise with a love of helping customers and is dedicated to sustainable business growth that supports the Radiant Australia commitment to customer service.
John Askwith: Managing Director
A marketing professional from Melbourne, John’s passion for renewable energy emerged at a young age thanks to his family’s involvement in the industry. A desire to work directly in the industry was ignited after a US trip to assist in the installation of a commercial solar farm in California in 2011. Returning to Australia John seized the chance to become part of the setup of Radiant Australia, and was quickly immersed in all of the technical and non-technical aspects of running the business.
Bringing his marketing expertise to bear John has helped guide Radiant Australia to significant growth in its early years. Thanks to an ongoing commitment to customer service and technical excellence he has played a central role in the quality and innovation of Radiant Solar Racking Solutions. Like Juergen, John’s easy-going and approachable brand of customer service translates into the delivery of solar racking solutions unique to each customer.
